Overview: Aharam Services, emerging as a pioneer in "Recruitment Festivals" organised a Mega Job Fair at Hans Rover College, Perambalur on the 03rd July 2010, in an unprecedented scale.
Objective: To recruit 300 fresh candidates to meet out talent requirements for 17 corporates including HCL, Dell, SITEL India, Foxconn, Sterling Resorts, Cameo India, Synchrony Infotech, Eurekha Forbes, Cafe Coffee Day, Swan Electric among other leading players.
Challenge: To choose suitable candidates from a gathering of 675, (belonging to different streams & different colleges spread over the geographies of Thanjavur, Trichy, Kumbakonam, etc) for different job openings for different companies operating in different verticals. And the time available was just 8 hours - meaning, just one working day. |
Result: 137 Spot Offers issued on the same day, at the valedictory event conducted in the evening; 80 Candidates were shortlisted for the final round of screening at respective head offices.
How Aharam did it: Proper Crowd Management plans were conceived through our earlier visits to the venue. Different blocks were identified for different categories such as IT, Non-IT, Hospitality, etc. Thus recruiters and students were properly guided to their appropriate buildings without chaos, which usually is the flavour of any such mega job fair. Along with the supporters of the volunteers, this saved time by 70% and the rest, as they say, is history! |

Overview: This Recruitment Festival was exclusively an "Aharam" event, conducted on the 29th & 30th May 2010 at Tirunelveli, where in there were 850 walk-ins in total.
Objective: This initiative was to screen freshers and experienced candidates for our various clients spread across Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore & Madurai.
Challenge: The requirements were mind-boggling as there were innumerable overlappings between requirements of freshers and experienced candidates.
Result: 237 Candidates were issued Spot Offers; 120 candidates were short-listed for the final round of interview. |
| How Aharam did it: Aharam's event management skills were put into full-throttle in this fair, in particular. This was technically an "off-campus" event and that meant we have to run around organising everything - right from the venue to the water cans for the candidates, while keeping the objective in perspective. Our technical team (the head-hunters) was given a free hand and focused only on the job on hand, while the event management team concentrated on the logistics. This Job fair also proved our mettle of handling events of any scale. |

| KALAIGNAR 87 MEGA JOB FAIR AT PALAYAMKOTTAI |

Overview: Aharam Services,in association with Tmt. Kanimozhi MP, participated in this mega job fair conducted on 16 & 17th July 2010 at St. Xavier's College, Palayamkottai.
Objective: To recruit 120 candidates from a walk-in population of 180 people (our stall-traffic) for major corporates.
Challenge: Among the 120 openings, 80 openings were for freshers - the biggest challenge of any head-hunter.
Result: 87 Candidates were issued Provisional Offer Letters, by Tmt. Kanimozhi, MP, on the same day. |
| How Aharam did it: We surgically targeted freshers, while they were least wanted in other stalls; our innovative team handled the whole process swiftly, to identify potential candidates and took them through the pre-defined screening process, so that every "on-the-field" moment was made use of in the most efficient manner. |
